Since 2004 the Goethe-Institute resides in an unique Architectural Ensemble in the Old French Quarter of Hanoi offering language courses and cultural programs. Fortunately, in 2017 the Institute was able to extend its property by renting out a third historical villa accomplishing the axis symmetric ensemble. Inros Lackner was given the commission (LP1-LP9) to design carefully the refurbishment of the 100 years old Villa keeping as much as possible from the old structure and materials but still doing a conversion into a modern classroom environment. Architecture, Landscape Design Structure and MEP Design was conducted in an in house co-operation with our Cambodian office. The building has been put into operation in spring 2018
