The Vinpearl Resort & Spa lies in the midst of a small tropical inlet on Hon Tre island in the bay of Nha Trang. Planned as a part of the resort’s amusement area Vinpearl Hall and Vinpearl Gardens are set to occupy 3.6 ha.The elliptical design of both areas follows the original hill shape. Vinpearl Hall is located on top of the lower and Vinpearl Gardens on top of the higher hill. A large staircase with water cascades connects these two buildings. “The Gardens” are divided into 60 small 150 sqm flower inlays showing the botanical variety of Vietnam which changes according season.
“The Hall” is located within the hill for acoustical and climate reasons. Visitors arriving at the entrance Plaza will use the lateral staircases entering the main hall below ground. The building shell is a light steel structure covered by ETFE double skin air cushions. An integrated shading layer protects from the sun. LED lights placed along the superstructure are creating a mystical deep sea feeling upon the visitors’ arrival.
