Construction of a 326 m long bridge
Financed partly by the European Development Fond and partly by the Government of Benin, the technical association TR-Engineering and Inros Lackner SE were admitted with the supervision of the Womey Bridge Crossing. Crossing the lagoon of Djonou, the bridge has a total length of 326m with three spans each having a length of 32m, 44m and 32m. Realised in two years the principal objectives of this project was to develop the transport infrastructure of the region, improve traffic circulation, increase road security and reduce traffic costs for the neighbouring urban population of Abomey-Calavi.
