Our brand-new 200 kN double-cylinder auto Piezocone test crawler was delivered in December 2022. Using hydraulic power, a probe is automatically pressed into the ground at a constant pace. Cone tip resistance, dynamic pore pressure, sleeve friction and other parameters are being continuously measured during penetration and an electronic continuous profile of soil data is immediately obtained. The data can be used in foundation engineering to determine pile bearing capacity and settlement behaviour of the soil.
The compact, high power hydraulic crawler is ideal for rapid soil investigations of soft ground.
