Third place in international architectural competition
INROS LACKNER BLR gets a third place in international architectural competition Archchel 2020
Inros Lackner BLR had took part in architectural competition ArchChel 2020 and won the third prize in nomination ”The Congress center” by the side of the Miass river in Chelyabinsk (Russia).
The International architectural competition Archchel 2020 for the construction of landmark buildings for upcoming SCO and BRICS summits in 2020 in Chelyabinsk was announced in August 2016. 350 international participants from 8 countries competed in the open architectural tender. Projects were presented in following categories: embankment of Miass River, the congress center and the airport. Winners of Archchel 2020 were announced on November in Chelyabinsk. Project ”Bridge”, designed by Inros Lackner BLR, took the third prize in category ”The congress center”. The main idea of this project is based on the composition of three main structures. The congress and media centers are located on the opposite sides and bounded by the "bridge" – the building of office and hotel complex, which is soaring above the water surface.
